The One Light Weight Loss Program is a one of a kind system combining the ChiroThin Doctor Supervised Weight Loss Program and Neuro-Emotional Technique to individually help people lose abnormal fat, lock in their weight loss and heal the underlying emotional eating patterns for healthy body weight. This all started in Fargo, ND but today we are helping program members all over the US.
Secret #1: Target Abnormal Fat
For any weight loss program to succeed you must target abnormal fat. Simple calorie reduction programs may cause you to burn fat, but they cause you to burn up your reserve fat and then your structural fat and steal from your muscle BEFORE you access abnormal fat. The safest way to lose weight is to target abnormal fat without stripping away your muscle, or burning up your necessary reserve and structural fat stores. Here’s another secret – you don’t need to exercise to target abnormal fat. In fact, you can target abnormal fat faster and easier if you DON’T exercise! Save the exercise until you are at your healthy body weight – it’s easier and more effective then.
Secret #2: Heal the Underlying Issues
This is the biggest challenge, but most of us carry extra weight as a form of emotional protection. If the underlying cause of our added body weight isn’t addressed, the emotional brain will cause us to sabotage our weight loss efforts and our goal will not be attained. For a weight loss program to be effective and to help achieve and maintain a healthy body weight throughout life, it must be looked at as a healing process. The healing process will transform a person’s relationship with food and get your head and your heart in agreement in terms of your weight loss goal, emotional eating patterns, cravings and stall points along the way.
Secret #3: Reset the Brain
One of the most frustrating situations following a diet program is watching the scale start to creep back up. In fact a lot of people may lose 25 pounds and then turn around and gain back 28 pounds! This rebound effect is based upon the brain’s set point known as Basal Metabolic Rate, or BMR. BMR is calculated with a person’s age, height and weight. So for example a person weighing 200 pounds, may have a BMR of 2150 calories. If they lose 25 pounds and are now 175 pounds, their BMR may be only 1800 calories. If the BMR is properly reset then the likelihood of the scale creeping back up to 200 when going back to eating a normal diet is greatly reduced.
